The Art of The Start - May 2026
Join us for a 2-day deep dive into the heart of your church's identity and mission!
Join us for a two-day training designed to help leaders prepare to launch new churches and disciple-making works across the Intermountain West.
Starting a church requires more than passion or a new strategy. It requires spiritual clarity, practical preparation, and a deep understanding of the mission God has placed before you. The Art of the Start is designed to help leaders begin that work with focus and intention.
Too often churches become over-programmed and under-discipled. We fill calendars with activity but struggle to form disciples who live out the gospel in everyday life. Healthy church plants begin differently. They start with a clear understanding of their mission and a commitment to build a culture where disciples are formed and sent into the places where they live, work, and play.
During these two days we will work through the foundational questions every church planter must answer as they prepare to launch:
• What is God calling us to do in this community?
• Why does this work matter here and now?
• How will we form disciples from the beginning?
• What will success look like in the early years?
• Where might God be leading this church in the future?
Leaders will spend time learning from experienced church planters and ministry leaders who will share both practical tools and lessons learned from launching churches. This will be a highly interactive environment designed to help you develop clarity, momentum, and next steps as you prepare to begin a new work.
We will also be joined by Andrew Estes, who will guide leaders through key elements of clarifying vision and mission for new churches.
Our hope is that those who attend will leave with greater clarity, encouragement, and practical tools to begin the work God has placed in front of them.
Because clarity isn’t everything, but it changes everything.
Clarity isn't everything, but it changes everything.
