Executive Director / Regional Catalyst Utah

Derek Murphy

Derek and his wife Bri live in Salt Lake City. He serves with Salt City Underground and has also planted traditional church campuses with Real Life. Derek became the Executive Director of the ICPA on September 1st, 2022.

Associate Director / Regional Catalyst Idaho

Stephen Edwards

Steve was the Executive Director of the ICPA for the past 25 years, seeing 33 new churches planted where 25-30 thousand people worship God today. He has also seen 3 new church planting movements started through churches planted in his tenure. Vivian serves with Steve in supporting church planters and their wives.

Residency Director / Regional Catalyst Oregon

Mike Whitford

Mike and Cindy live in Baker City, OR and attend Baker Christian Church. Mike has served in two ICPA plants in the Treasure Valley, including Eagle Christian Church, and has more than 40 years of full-time leadership experience.

Kelly Armstrong

Kelly and Brandi live in Spokane, WA and planted Riverside Real Life. Kelly has planted twice in his ministry and has specialized skill in coaching and church planting assessment.

Tana Lyle

Tana lives in Star, ID. Has 3 children & 2 grandchildren. Her and her husband Craig, run Boise Basin Insurance in Eagle, ID. They love to spend time with their family, travel, & fish.

Jenny Arellano

Jenny lives in Salt Lake City, Utah. She works full time for Capital One and serves with Salt City Underground. Jenny loves cooking for her large family where she is one of six.

Jeff Heins

Jeff and Bonnie have collectively served on the board for nearly 30 years. Jeff has been chairman for the past 8 years and serves as an Elder at his church (M4C), he serves on the board of Hisportic Christian Mission and is a veterinarian in Rupert, ID.

John Robinson

John has served with the ICPA for over 20 years. He is the lead pastor of Gate City Christian Church in Chubbuck, ID.

Tim Nay

Tim and his wife Khristyn planted LifeSpring Christian Church in Star ID with the ICPA in 2009 where he continues to serve as Lead Minister. Tim loves coaching and mentoring ministers using his 30 years of church leadership experience. He has served on the ICPA board since 2021.

Adrian Celaya

Adrian and his wife Christine live in their hometown of Gooding, Idaho. He is an Elder and worship leader at Gooding First Christian Church. Insurance is his “tent making.” He enjoys coaching high school football and supporting his two adult children in their pursuits.

Greg woodward

Greg serves on the board of Salt City Underground, where he is deeply involved in the mission of the church. He has also held CFO and COO roles in large corporations, small businesses, and capital funds in Utah. Greg and his wife, Mary, have six adult children.
