A New Season Emerging at Community Christian Church in Twin Falls

Over the past several weeks, Community Christian Church (CCC) in Twin Falls has experienced an unexpected and encouraging shift. What began as a challenging season, navigating a proposed merger and the tensions it brought, has become a moment of renewed unity, energy, and spiritual hunger in the congregation.

An Encouraging Shift in the Church

Even before the merger vote, there were signs that God was doing something new. A few key leaders began sensing fresh clarity and conviction. One morning, without being scheduled to preach, longtime member and former elder Jason Saldano felt prompted to share what God had put on his heart. When he walked up to the stage, the congregation erupted in spontaneous cheers. His message that morning deeply moved the church, with many describing it as a breath of fresh air.

In the Sundays since, CCC has seen:

  • People returning who had drifted away

  • A renewed spirit of worship

  • Energized leadership among key members

  • A sense of hope about the future

While the church still faces significant rebuilding, genuine momentum is forming, both spiritually and relationally.

Where Things Stand Now

Following the merger vote, the remaining elder, Chad Scott, reached out to the ICPA for guidance. We’ve spent time listening, praying, and meeting with leaders within the congregation. What we’ve encountered is a small but committed group of believers who want to rediscover their mission and make a positive impact on their community again.

This is, in many ways, a turnaround church, a congregation with deep roots and a faithful history that is now seeking to step into a new, healthier chapter.

Community Christian Church is looking for:

  • A pastor with a shepherd’s heart and a willingness to lead with humility

  • Someone energized by the challenge of revitalization rather than discouraged by it

  • A leader who can help reestablish identity and mission

  • A preacher who can open the Scriptures with clarity and warmth

  • A collaborative partner who is eager to work alongside the ICPA for training, coaching, and support

This could be an excellent fit for:

  • A young leader who wants to grow with a congregation

  • A seasoned pastor who loves small-church shepherding

  • A relational, Spirit-led teacher who thrives in grassroots ministry

  • A pastor with a passion for renewal and disciple-making

A Church with New Openness and Hope

The renewed energy at CCC is notable. Leaders like Jason Saldana, Ted Hadley, David Gasser, and others are prayerful, unified, and ready to invest in the future. Worship leadership has strengthened again. There is a desire for discipleship, clarity, and mission.

This is a church with a story still being written—and there is a real opportunity for a pastor to help guide it into a new season of health.

How to Pray

Please join us in prayer for:

  • Wisdom for the leadership and congregation

  • Unity and humility as they rebuild

  • Clear calling for the right pastor

  • Continued openness to the Spirit’s leading

If you know a leader who feels called to shepherd a congregation toward renewed health—one who is excited about the challenge of revitalization—we would love to connect.

Together, we believe the Lord can use this moment to write a hopeful next chapter for Community Christian Church.
